Fresh on the Shelf - June 2017 Book Releases + Giveaway

Thursday, June 01, 2017Cupcake Queen

Happy June, Cupcakes!

I want to shout "Happy Summer!" but technically it won't be 'officially' summer until June 21st, however I do wholeheartedly wish each and every one of you a wonderful beginning to what I hope to be an incredible summer.

May was an exceptional month for yours truly. I read and reviewed some incredible books, participated in an excellent bookish event, and also attended Anime North (a recap you can expect to see later on this week!) I enjoyed the busier than usual tempo of May and hope June will be the same. I plan on reading and reviewing more exciting titles for the month of June, some of which include The Sandcastle Empire, Once and For All, and Spellbook of the Lost and Found. I look forward to hearing your thoughts, as well, on other June 2017 book releases.

Happy reading! 📚

  3. My favorite is when I spent a summer a few years back binge-reading the Percy Jackson series! In a way, it kinda felt like I spent the summer at Camp Half-Blood as well :)

(also, my username on Bloglovin' is potteresque. I'm sorry I accidentally sent the entry before typing in the complete username)

  5. I binge read the mortal instruments series 3 summers ago. Hardly went outside and summers are short here!

  6. As a child we travelled three days by car once a year to stay with my grandparents. Every year I spent the entire journey reading. I still travel quite a lot and always have something to read - although I prefer audiobooks in the car.
