Noah Marshall has known a privileged and comfortable life thanks to his mother, the highly decorated chief of the Austin Police Department. But all that changes the night she reveals a skeleton that's been rattling in her closet for years, and succumbs to the guilt of destroying an innocent family's life. Reeling with grief, Noah is forced to carry the burden of this shocking secret.

Gracie Richards wasn't born in a trailer park, but after fourteen years of learning how to survive in The Hollow, it's all she knows anymore. At least here people don't care that her dad was a corrupt Austin cop, murdered in a drug deal gone wrong. Here, she and her mother are just another family struggling to survive...until a man who clearly doesn't belong shows up on her doorstep.

Despite their differences, Noah and Gracie are searching for answers to the same questions, and together, they set out to uncover the truth about the Austin Police Department's dark and messy past. But the scandal that emerges is bigger than they bargained for, and goes far higher up than they ever imagined.

Complex, gritty, sexy, and thrilling, Keep Her Safe solidifies K.A. Tucker's reputation as one of today's most talented new voices in romantic suspense.

I just love K.A. Tucker to pieces! I've been through her Ten Tiny Breaths series countless times, I've fallen in love over and over again with her Burying Waters series, and He Will Be My Ruin was my favorite adult mystery of 2016. For further elaboration - I absolutely adore everything she writes. K.A. Tucker has a knack for writing realistic characters that seep into my very core. They're memorable, identifiable, and so witty and intelligent, it makes real life seem dim in comparison. When it comes to her latest endeavor - Keep Her Safe - I can say, without a doubt, it's one of the best romantic suspense titles I've read to date!

"His lips graze against mine in a timid way, as if he's afraid of my response. Not until the second pass, when he presses a little harder, when he stalls there for a little longer, does it actually feel like a real kiss."

Keep Her Safe, hands down, has to be the sexiest and most intense suspense title I've ever read. It completely captivated from the very first chapter. Diving into Keep Her Safe, I found it difficult to remind myself of the last time I had been sucked in so deeply into a novel right from the beginning. Gracie and Noah immediately grew on me, and became an iconic duo with a knack for getting down to business. Additionally, I found the story line that K.A. Tucker wove for Keep Her Safe's protagonists to be quite entrancing, mind-boggling, and addictive. I found myself continuously checking back on several chapters as the story unfolded, just to keep track of all the twists and turns - it was extremely entertaining!

Keep Her Safe, as a whole, was an enthralling, sexy, and criminally addicting read. I found it to be one of my favorite titles from K.A. Tucker to date, and certainly hope to see more romance suspense titles from her in the future. Gracie and Noah were, without a doubt, my favorite duo from her yet!
