Lilah isn't sure what hurt worse: the day Ethan left her to focus on his hockey career, or the day he came back eight years later. He might think they can pick up just where they left off, but she's no longer that same girl and never wants to be again.

Ethan Kane wants his glory days back. And that includes having Lilah by his side. With her, he was magic. They were magic. All he has to do is make her see that.

Just when Lilah might finally be ready to let him in, though, she finds out their reunion has nothing to do with her and everything to do with his game. But Ethan's already lost her once, and even if it costs him his career, he'll do anything to keep from losing her again

Helena Hunting OBSESSED! I'm not kidding, it's become a serious addiction for yours truly. The Clipped Wings series, the Pucked series, and most importantly the Shacking Up series have been my obsessions as of late, firstly starting with the Clipped Wings series first being read by yours truly back when it's respected titles first hit the shelves. Even so, when I spotted Helena's name on this upcoming title, I was sold. I knew that;

a) It would be sexy,
b)I would probably faint at some point or another over it's extremely steamy moments,
c)that I was going to fall in love with it's characters,

so with that said, I was down to devour this pretty package the moment it arrived.

"You don't have to be perfect, Ethan.
It's okay to make mistakes."

Ethan and Lilah were AMAZING! I instantly loved them the moment I dove into their perspectives. It was emotional, intense, and so heartbreaking, but also uplifting, if that makes sense. Getting their first-hand account on events, both past and present, broadened my experience in this epic romance and I adored every moment of it. There were moments where (without mentioning any spoilers) I cried and just hoped and prayed for the best, and seeing the outcome unfurl slowly was, put simply, a thrill. I highly recommend fans of Helena Hunting take a gander at Good Luck Charm. It's a stunning title that features her signature way of bringing to life two unique characters, giving them an emotional tale that doesn't solely focus on the physical, and redeeming them in just one of the most glorious closures any rabid romance reader would desire. Amazing!
